What Happens After Bond Is Granted?
After you pay the bond you will be released from detention. After the bond is posted, it acts as security. You must fulfill your obligations by attending all future court hearings. If for some reason you are unable to fulfill your obligations, your bond will be forfeited (turned over) to the court and you will not get the bond money back.
